On November 15, the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference (DMMC) membership unanimously approved the 2024 Legislative Action Program (LAP).  The document identifies three key topics as legislative priorities in 2024: restoration of the Local Government Distributive Fund (LGDF), sustainable public pensions, and common-sense amendments to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Open Meetings Act (OMA).  The Conference will also utilize the LAP to take positions on other legislation impacting municipalities in DuPage.
