On January 15, 2025, the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference hosted its Annual Legislative Reception and Dinner, welcoming 16 local legislators and more than 140 municipal members and business partners.

During the event, the Conference presented its 2025 Legislative Action Program, highlighting four legislative priorities: Municipal Revenue and Unfunded Mandates, Sustainable Public Pension Systems, Freedom of Information Act and Open Meetings Act, and Transportation and Infrastructure.

The Conference also recognized the recipients of the 2024 Governmental Leader of the Year Awards: State Representative Anthony DeLuca and Illinois Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi. As neither awardee could attend, the awards will be presented at a future Conference event to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
