A main function of the Conference is to identify and analyze legislation and state and federal agency rules that impact DuPage municipalities and the well-being of DuPage residents and employers. The Legislative Committee monitors legislative issues that affect local government and guides Conference members in reacting to proposals from other organizations.
Legislative Action Program
Conference members have the opportunity to participate in the legislative process of the Illinois General Assembly through the annual Springfield Drive Down and by participating in seminars and attending meetings with legislators and other government officials.
